Mammoth Live, The Bourbon Theatre, and SMG-Lincoln announced today that two-time Grammy-Award winning rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor Nelly will perform at the 2018 Lincoln on the Streets concert series on Saturday, June 30. The concert will be held at Centennial Mall and M Street in Downtown Lincoln with special guest Juvenile.
Recognized multiple times over the last decade, Nelly has had chart-topping hits in three different genres, with the remix “Cruise” winning Billboard’s Top Country Song in 2014. He is also the founder of 4Sho4Kids Foundation, a philanthropic organization raising money and awareness for various children’s health issues. The rapper also created Jes Us 4 Jackie Foundation, which educates people on the importance of bone marrow transplants, which was inspired by Nelly’s sister who had been diagnosed with Leukemia.
In 2017, the inaugural Lincoln on the Streets Concert Series attracted more than 5,000 music fans featuring 311, New Politics, and The Skints. The concert series is a joint venture between Mammoth Live, the Bourbon Theatre, and SMG-Lincoln.
