Norris High Student Cited After Tackling, Striking Vice-Principle

A Norris High School student is cited after assaulting the vice-principal.

Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says the incident began Tuesday at around 8 AM after the vice-principle tried to get a 17-year-old student to stop driving his car recklessly in the parking lot.

“This young man stopped his vehicle, exited his vehicle and tackled the assistant principal and began assaulting him.”

Wagner says students and staff who saw the assault happen separated the student from the vice-principle before deputies arrived.

The 17-year-old was cited for third-degree assault and released to a relative.
