NSAA Extends Suspension of Practices, Competitions to May 1

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is extending the suspension of practices and competitions.

In a statement posted to their website, the NSAA says “practices and competitions are suspended through May 1”, which is an extension from an earlier statement that suspended practices until March 30 and competitions until April 2.

The NSAA added again that the suspension could be extended “should conditions warrant.”

There are five NSAA sports in the spring, with all having their championships in May. The first on the calendar is soccer which begins May 13, followed girl’s tennis, baseball, track and field, and finishing with boy’s golf May 28.
