A Lincoln man is arrested for pretending to shoot two people.

Lincoln Police Officer Erin Spilker says police were called to the area of 4th and West Nance around 4:30 pm Thursday after two men reported they had just been threatened.

“While in a vehicle parked in this area, a red Toyota Camry pulled up beside them on the street,” said Spilker. “They stated that the driver of the vehicle raised up a black rifle and pointed it at them and then started laughing.”

The victims reported the suspect driver then began to leave the area but turned around to threatened them again.

“This time the rifle was hanging out the window pointed at them and the driver was saying ‘Pow’,”
said Spilker.

One of the victims reported having a history with the suspect and identified him as 21-year-old Dajour Haynes.

Haynes was arrested Friday for making terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
