Lincoln Police are investigating another arson, this time at a Northeast High School.

Lincoln Police Officer Luke Bonkiewics said officers were called to the school just after 8 p.m after staff reported discovering evidence of a fire.

“They discovered that a suspect or suspects had thrown a glass incendiary device at a school window,” said Bonkiewicz. “However it did not penetrate the glass.”

Bonkiewicz said the only damage was some burned grass.

He adds the department is investigating whether this incident is connected to other recent arsons at Bethany Library and Huntington Elementary School.
