A 17 year old is facing charges after a stabbing at 16th and D around 10:30 Wednesday night.
Police found a 34 year old man with several stab wounds and was heavily bleeding. He was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police talked to witnesses who said the victim and the teen had been in an argument over an accused theft. That turned physical and the victim was stabbed several times.
The 17 year old was taken into custody and booked for 1st degree assault and for use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
He was booked into the Lancaster County Youth Detention Center.
Police say the two lived in the same apartment. The argument stemmed apparently from the theft of four pit bull puppies
