41 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Monday

The Lancaster County Health Department reports 41 new lab confirmed COVID-19 cases Monday.  Today’s report includes cases from the weekend that were delayed because of technical problems in the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services reporting system.

The community total is now at 5.196 and the number of deaths remains at 21.  Recoveries are up from 2.039 to 2.042.

The Lancaster County positivity rate is up from 7.6% to 7.7%.  The state rate is up from 9.5% to 9.6% with the national rate down from 8.6% to 8.5%.

Hospitalizations are at 30 with ten being Lancaster County residents.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  If you have symptoms, please get tested.  Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.
