Badly Timed “Refuse To Wear A Mask” Tattoo Goes Viral

By News Feb 25, 2021 | 2:19 PM

A woman in Kentucky got a tattoo right before the beginning of the pandemic in early March 2020. She said that she was inspired by a conversation she had with a friend where they would say the things they admired the most about each other. Her friend said “you courageously and radically refuse to wear a mask” meaning she isn’t afraid of showing herself off as she is.

She got the tattoo two days before Kentucky reported the first case of Covid-19 in the state.

She said: “It basically looked like I’m totally anti-mask or whatever, which is not the case” to the point where she started covering her arms in public. With time, though, she was able to laugh about it and even shared a TikTok where it quickly became viral.
