A “nuisance gator” was killed in South Carolina by a hunter. During the taxidermy process (to preserve the Alligator’s body) at least 5 dog tags, 1 bullet jacket, 1 spark plug, loads of turtle shells, and several bobcat claws. Two of the dog tags still had legible phone numbers and one of the numbers was still active. When they called the number the person on the other end said that in fact, he had lost a hound dog about 24 years ago while hunting in the area.
The alligator was 445 pounds and 12 feet long.
